5 Things You Should Know about Nigerian-American Singer, Jidenna

Nigerian but American Born Artist Jidenna Theodore Mobisson Popular known as Jidenna and his Love for Ankara is currently here in Nigeria to commence his West African Tour.

Jidenna arrived Lagos days ago (if you is miss that check that here) and he will be performing today 1st of September at Hard Rock Cafe, Lagos.

Highlighted here are 5 Things you should know about the Artist.

1. Jidenna is signed into Wondaland Records and his  First Official Single titled Classic Man  was released in 2015, He later released another single called Yoga in the same 2015. In 2016 Jidenna released three singles namely  Little Bit More, Chief Don't Run and Long Live the Chief

2. Jidenna was Born in Wisconsin, United States on May 4, 1985; he is 31 Years of Age.

3. Jidenna schooled at Stanford University, where he first studied sound engineering, but eventually graduated with Bachelor of Art Degree in 2008 after switching to study "Ritualistic Arts".

4.  Jidenna's single "Classic Man" was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 58th Grammy Awards.  Jidenna also won an award for best new artist at the 2015 Soul Train Music Awards.

5. Jidenna Parent are Tama Mobisson an America-born Accountant  and his dad, Oliver Mobisson a Nigerian and Professor of Computer Science at Enugu State University.
