Col. Ojogbane Adegbe the Former ADC to President Jonathan, has filed N100 million claim against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over cases of unlawful detainment.
In a central rights implementation suit recorded by his guidance, Ogwu Onoja (SAN) under the watchful eye of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Gudu, Adegbe said he has been in EFCC authority since February 11 and has not been accused of any offense.
Adegbe contended that the EFCC has disregarded his entitlement to individual freedom and flexibility of development as ensured under Section 35 and 41 of the 1999 Constitution by his detainment. He said the armed force powers had summoned him from the United Kingdom where he had been going to a course since he got done with serving as Jonathan's ADC on May 29, 2015 to respect EFCC welcome over his charged contribution in the dispensing of the $2.1 billion arms fraud.
