World Tallest Man Dies at 26 Years of Age

Pornchai Saosri from Thailand, who measured at 8ft 8ins (269cm), had before his death, been down with several illnesses related to his unusual rate of growth and had recently been treated in a hospital.

According to the Bangkok post, Pornchai had been bedridden and was being cared for by his father, Saran, 60, his mother,Mrs Woen, 56, and their 15-year-old granddaughter before his death.

Around 10.05am on November 9 His mother, Mrs Woen reported that her son had died at their home on Ban Takaeo village in the Prasat district of Thailand.

She said she had found her son dead after returning from washing dishes.CC
