An eyewitness said the incident occurred at about 3PM on Wednesday, August 12, afternoon.
The chopper was coming from the Ikeja axis of Lagos State when it made a loud noise before nose-diving into the Oworonsoki end of the Lagos lagoon.
Channels Television confirmed that National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have begun rescue operations at the scene of the crash.
