Leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu rejects Government idea of Secret Trial

A Federal High Court Justice in Abuja, Justice Binta Nyako was reported to have stormed out of the Federal High Court Abuja earlier today following the refusal of Nnamdi Kanu, who made it clear he does not want to be tried secretly.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Kanu  who is standing trial for treasonable offenses, refused the Federal government application that the witnesses to testify against him should be protected.

It was reported that this was what caused chaos in the court which led to the presiding judge leaving the court abruptly. Meanwhile his supporters were outside the court premises, drumming support for him.
