Turkish ambassador summon to Nigeria over Nigerian students arrested and detained in Turkey over failed Coup

Nigeria Minister for Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, have summoned the Turkish ambassador to Nigeria, Hakan Cakil, over the detention of some Nigerian students in Istanbul by the Turkish police.

Last week it was reported that some Nigerian students in Turkey Universities  were arrested and detained for 11 hours on alleged order of the Turkish government following the July 15th failed military coup in the country, Some Nigeria students also pleaded with Nigeria Authorities to come to their rescue, over the treatment of the Turkish Government.
