Nigerian senate committee have finally concluded on the validity of Jamb Result, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result validity which was formerly 1 Year has been extended to three years.
The amendment which motion has been on ground for some while, was passed by the upper legislative chamber today, Thursday.
Jibrin Barau, chairman, senate committee on tertiary education and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) while presenting the report of his committee on the bill, said that the amendments would further strengthen the admission board in its responsibilities.
Senate President Bukola Saraki also noted that the new amendments would bring financial relief to students and parents, further reducing corruption in the admission process.
