Newly Elected Kogi State Governor; Yahaya Bello has been sworn in as the State Governor. He was
sworn in this morning in the state.
Yahaya Bello became governor in because he was the winner the controversial supplementary election that
was conducted after APC's governorship candidate, Prince Audu Abubakar,
died suddenly during the governorship election in November last year.
James Faleke who ran as deputy governor with Abubakar, that also said he was suppose to be the APC supplementary election Candidate did not attend the ceremony. He had previously said he wont attend the Sworn in of Yahaya Bello as the Governor. Seems he is not still happy with the way it turned out.
