Lassa fever is a viral ailment
generally gotten from contaminated rats. The fever has been making strides in
Nigeria in the past couple of months. According
to reports the fever has affected 11 states in Nigeria including One Known case
in Lagos, Three Confirmed dead in River State with 200 others in the state
under observation and one other person confirm dead in Abuja. Currently 43 cases
of the fever have been recorded in the nation.
