Report Claims Dasuki Gave Ex Sokoto Gov. N4.6 Billion for “Spiritual Purposes”

The alleged $2 billion arms deal fraud investigation is getting more interesting, as deal is linked to more people, though Dasuki has said he didn’t implicate anyone in the ongoing investigation
Former Sokoto State Governor, Attahiru Bafarawa has reportedly denied receiving any part of the money from Dasuki.

However, according to Vanguard, it has been stated that Dasuki, gave Former Sokoto State Governor, Attahiru Bafarawa  sum of N4.6 billion “for spiritual purposes.”
The exact “spiritual purposes” the money was used for, are yet to be revealed.
One of Bafarawa’s aides, Alhaji Akibu Dalhatu, told newsmen: “We have seen deliberate falsehoods published in the newspapers and social media platforms, designed deliberately to tarnish the image and person of Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa. Some of the writers and media outfits have access to Governor Bafarawa and his media advisers. It would appear that the media is being used to play out a script that has been written long before now.”
