Paramount Ruler of Tiv Tribe in Benue State, Dr Alfred Akawe Torkula, is dead. Governor of Benue State, Samuel
Ortom, confirmed this to newsmen early this
morning. The late traditional ruler died of an undisclosed ailment at a
private hospital in Benue state. He died at 71 years of age. God Bless His Soul.
