Yemi Alade revealed Angelique Kidjo as her mentor in a Post on her Instagram page that came with the hash tag #GetMented, she also asked fans to reveal who they wanted to get mented by.
Angelique is a Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter and activist from Benin Republic, known for her diverse musical influences and creative music videos. She is also internationally said to be Africa’s queen of music. See her post after Cut
